Padres @ Mets · August 17–19 · Queens Padres in town for the Bo Bichette bobblehead Monday — the centerpiece of the I-95 Express road trip — with a divisional-stakes feel. Citi Field on a midweek August night with the wildcard race tightening is one of the more underrated atmospheres of late summer.

The Kershaw Friday + Reggie Smith Saturday double at Dodger Stadium is the headline event of the week. Kershaw is the greatest Dodger of his generation. Reggie Smith hit .300+ twice as a Dodger in the late '70s and is the deep-cut collector pick. Together they form the centerpiece of the August Blockbuster road trip.
Harry Potter Night at the Reds is the licensed-IP highlight. Cincinnati's bobblehead program has had one of the most thoughtful theme-night runs of the year, and this is the kind of crossover bobble that pulls fans who don't normally come to Reds games.
